Motivational Monday: And the Academy goes to......

Yesterday at the Oscars, Matthew McConaughey won an Academy Award for his role in the movie, Dallas Buyers Club. His thank you speech was short and sweet but quite powerful.

There were 3 groups of people he thanked:

• The one He Looked up to.... Which was God

• The people He Looked Forward to.... Which was his family and friends

• The person He was chasing... Which was himself 10 years in the future.

His speech really resonated with me because it reminded me that there are so many factors involved in our success:

1. God

2. Others

3. Self

This message lines up with one of the core principals you see throughout my website....

Love God...Love Self....Love Others.

You can't reach greatness on your own. Allow the people in your life to encourage you through the challenging times. Rely on God to catapult you to higher altitudes of greatness. Push yourself forward and beyond the obstacles life will bring your way. Together, with the love of God, Self and Others you are truly a force with unlimited capabilities!
