Health and Wellness Wednesday: Keeping Healthy Relationships
I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
However, do you realize that the care in maintaining the relationships with "frenemies" sometimes takes less work than those who you consider friends? At some point or another, you may feel that your friends are taking advantage of you or are not putting in the same type of interest in the relationship with you. With this, a delicate balance of communication with your friends must be clear. Sometimes your friends are going through difficult or overwhelming situations in their lives and may be a little distant. Just like anyone, if you are feeling that the relationship is changing, it is your responsibility to let your friends know how you feel, see what the cause(s) are and mend the relationship in a loving way. More than likely, you may find that their actions were not intentional.
