It's Election Time But No Matter What Happens....

It's just one day before the election and tension is running high! News stations, political consultants, party pundits and critics alike all have their take on the outcome of the election. Which one will it be? Hillary Clinton (aka Crooked Hillary) or Donald Trump (aka Divisive Donald). It seems as though many American's are not happy with either choice. The international community is anxiously awaiting too. The stakes are high and the world is watching!

W-h-o W-i-l-l I-t B-e!!!

So much is riding on the outcome of this election and there is grave concern for the direction our country will be taken. Will our new leader be trustworthy? Will he/she be volatile and erratic? Will he/she be a good role model for our children? Will our leader "Make America Great Again?" Are we really "Stronger Together?" Fear, frustration, anger, hatred and violence are just a few of the widespread feelings and behaviors that have surfaced and spread over the past year. Will this be the end of America as we know it? If these are your concerns they are certainly valid.

I had an insightful discussion with a close friend of mine last week and we talked about our own frustrations and concerns with the election. Being that both of us are women of faith and strong conviction my friend reminded me that no matter what happens and who is chosen, God is in control and his will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. God has always been in control and always will be. There is nothing that happens by chance and his will be done.

No Matter what happens in this don't let the fear of the unknown rattle you or stop you from having restful sleep. Remember that God's loving arms have been placed around you and as leaders have come and gone throughout the decades he has continued to watch over and keep you and your family. No matter what happens always remember you are safe in his hands and his thoughts are of good and not of harm. His thoughts are to prosper you and to bring you to an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11). No matter what happens tomorrow always remember that is the same yesterday, today and forevermore and will continue to meet and supply your needs as he has done so many times before.
